La Hammer editará sus clásicos en Blu-Ray

La mítica Hammer Films ya se instaló en el nuevo milenio y ahora dio a conocer su más reciente proyecto. Junto con Studiocanal, Pinewood y otros estudios internacionales, va a restaurar todos sus clásicos en formato HD y van a empezar a estrenarlos, por ahora sólo en Reino Unido.
No hay duda que los aficionados al cine de terror debemos mucho al cine de la Hammer. Y es que sus geniales películas repletas de colores chillones, sangre por doquier y escotes imposibles hicieron las delicias de aquellos que amamos al género.
Ahora que han vuelto a surgir de sus cenizas y producen títulos como LA MUJER DE NEGRO, han decidido restaurar 30 de sus películas clásicas para así ponerlas a la venta en alta definición en formato Blu-Ray.
Entre los títulos que se van a restaurar están La Plaga de los Zombis, El Reptil, Rasputín, Capitán Kronos, Frankenstein creó a la mujer y Dracula, Príncipe de las Tinieblas por citar algunas.

Dracula - Prince of Darkness (UK) in March

StudioCanal have announced the UK Double Play release of Dracula - Prince of Darkness on 5th March 2012. This horror classic starring Christopher Lee and Barbara Shelley is the first title in a new joint restoration project between StudioCanal and Hammer Films which aims to restore and release some of Hammer's most iconic horror titles on DVD and Blu-ray.
Along with the fully restored film, Dracula - Prince of Darkness boasts a comprehensive extras package produced in association with Hammer expert and author Marcus Hearn.
